Plantain pie is a kind of snack which is made by same process with meat pie but with a different recipes.
INGREDIENTS
=> Ripe plantain(6)
=> Fresh pepper
=> Onions
=> Pumpkin leave (ugu)
=> Salt
=> Knorr(seasoning)
=> Vegetable oil for frying
=> 3 large eggs
PROCEDURE
- Wash the plantain,peel and boil it for 20mins or less until it’s very soft
- While boiling the plantain, make your scrambled egg (fry egg with the ugu, pepper, onion,maggi and salt) just the normal way you fry your egg and keep aside
- Take the plantain out from the pot after 20mins or less if the plantain is soft enough and mash it to form a smooth dough. allow to cool.
Take a small amount from the dough, roll out neatly and fill in the fried scrambled egg at the middle.


- Close it and press it with a fork to key the edge forming meatpie shape. Do same for the remaining dough.
- Heat oil and fry all inside till you get your desired golden brown color.


NOTE: It’s very important you use very ripe plantain for it to come out well.
